This is a film about a Cross Border Field Simulation taking place at the border between Kenya and Tanzania in June 2019, supported by the GIZ-EAC project on Pandemic Preparedness in the East African region. The projects helps the East African Community enhance its crisis response capacity when facing outbreaks of pandemics such as Ebola, Rift Valley Fever etc.

The Official East African Community Mobile Application has now been launched.
The Federal Republic of Germany and the East African Community (EAC) successfully concluded bilateral negotiations on development cooperation on 30 September 2015 in Arusha. Germany committed a total of 37 million euros in grants to the EAC for 2016-2018, highlighting the strong commitment to support the integration process in East Africa.
The 1st German Africa Business Summit held from Monday 7th – 8th September 2015 brought together over 500 German businesses and Federal Government senior officials that wish to prospect and facilitate acquisition of business opportunities in Africa.
The prestigious Ousmane Sembène was handed over for the 6th time to films which contribute to the development of the African continent and its people. German Development Cooperation (GIZ) is the main sponsor of the prize.
